Total of 200 tanks contested in 9 categories. 3rd and 4th of March is traders’
days, We
have a total of approximately 55,000 people visited the show on 6th and 7th
March
2004.
The focus in the show is the top quality trophies that made by solid pewter. The
organizing committee felt the quality of the trophies can attract more
participant in the
show. We spent quite big sum of amount to produce the mould and decided to use
pewter as the material for our trophy. Pewter is proudly to be Malaysian product
and it
is best to make souvenir items. The overall grand champion will received the
trophy for
the category, the Grand Champion Trophy and also have their name engraved on the
DSM Challenge Trophy. Individual who won grand champion for 3 times
consecutively
can only own the DSM Challenge Trophy.
The DSM Challenge Trophy and the Grand Champion Trophy are 24K Gold plated.

All categories have quite even in the number of participant. Judges start with
elimination round on 10am on 4th March 2004. All judges go around the tanks by
category and place the 10 stickers given on all their favorite fish. The judge
panel
finalized 10 fish per category for second of detail judging. All judges finished
the
judging of 9 categories by about 2pm. All evaluation form is sent for data entry.
The
final results have been published by about 4pm. All 9 first prize of each
category is
then being judge for final round for choosing the Grand Champion. Finally the
Yellow
White from Open Class won the Grand Champion. The fish is own by Mr. Robert Chin
from Malaysia.
The prize giving ceremony is on as scheduled from 4.30pm, we finished the events
on
6pm and everything went smooth.
