GRAND CHAMPION

The Singapore 1st International Discus competition was held from the 17 May to 21 May 2000. Organised by Discus Club (Singapore).
Attracted entries from Taiwan, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, China, Hong Kong, Australia and Singapore.
Altogether 172 tanks - divided into 7 classes, ie: solid blue, solid red, solid yellow, stripped -thick lines, stripped -thin lines, spotted and unclassified. Total prize money S $10,000 with the grand champion getting S $3000.
Venue was at Great World City -drawing large crowds of visitors, easily 5,000 to 10,000 per day.
We hope to have more competitors from Europe next year.
